The Cambodian Flag
The National flag of Cambodia consists of a royal blue field cut with a red horizontal stripe. In the middle of the red stripe is a white depiction of Angkor Wat, the largest Buddhist temple in the world built in the early 12th century. The flag was readopted in 1993 when the monarchy was elected to rule again. The blue and red colours symbolize liberty and bravery, with the white image of Angkor Wat representing heritage, integrity and justice.
