Just print, cut out and assemble these gorgeous new teaching clocks ... we've designed them to be bright and cheerful and appealing and fun!
Learning to tell the quarter hours - quarter past and quarter to - can be a little confusing for kids. You can give them plenty of practice with our newest set of telling time worksheets though!
I've just added 8 new mandala colouring pages to the website. This set - which can be downloaded in one pdf file - are quite a bit more detailed than our last mandalas, so everyone can really enjoy colouring in the intricate designs.
... and set of "round the clock by quarter hour" packs of posters which can also be used on your desktop, tablet or screen as a slideshow.
The kids (and maybe even an adult or two) can have a go at these fun new word puzzles based on a transport theme.
... with a transport theme! The pictures vary in difficulty so you should find something to suit various ages and abilities. Some tie in with other topics too - the fire engine or tractor, for example.
If you are heading for the seaside this summer, or looking for ways to decorate the classroom ready for the season to change, you might want to have a look at our latest collection of photographic posters.
We've got some simple transport pictures (like our car and aeroplane) and some quite tricky transport pictures (like our old-fashioned caravan and steam train) in this new collection of "complete the picture" puzzles.
Anything you can do to help children learn to recognise the shape of letters, both upper and lower case, is well worth it - but if it is as fun as a playdough mat, too, well that's a bonus!
These are part 1 of a Member request. Part 2 (colouring bookmarks for the Months of the Year) will be coming soon.
Whether you use these playdough mats as an extra activity when studying animal habitats, or you bring them out for some fun creative modelling, they will provide a fun backdrop to the animals, birds and other creatures that the kids create.
... including upper case and lower case, plain and patterned or outline font for finger tracing, with pictures and without, large and small and in-between, double-sided and single-sided!
Here is our second big batch of telling time worksheets - this time "drilling" the half hours. We have 6 different types of worksheet to choose from, using the time in words, on analogue clocks and on digital clocks.
A few of our Members requested more photographic posters, so we are rolling out more throughout out Topics as we revisit them.
... and adding a set of our Panama flag printables too. We learn so much as we put our Around the World pages together, and enjoy collecting snippets of geography, history and choosing some fun facts for each page. We hope you enjoy them too!
We have been filling in gaps in our Around the World section this week, concentrating on North / Central America.
There is plenty of fun to be had with this new collection of grid copy puzzles, all featuring our favourite minibeasts! (Ok, I'm not so fond of spiders but we had to include that one).
Print our hour and half past telling time posters - which show the time with words, analogue clock and digital display - or use them as a slideshow on your whiteboard or computer screen.
Last week we started our new Telling Time topic. This week we've begun our telling time worksheet offering with six different varieties of worksheets to help children learn and practise their "o' clocks" - or the hours.
