If you are up for a challenge, why not tackle our trickier pencil mazes? There are 4 really hard mazes in this set, together with their solutions. Once you see the route, it's easy...
Set 4 contains four more pencil mazes - and now we are starting to make them a little bit tricky. Start on the S and end on the E, if you can find your way there! If not, we have provided solutions.
Challenge the kids to four slightly harder pencil mazes. They can trace these with a finger, or use a pencil. If you laminate them they could also use a dry wipe pen - perfect for repeat use. We think they might be fun as a "back to school" activity.
Here's the second set of our finger-tracing or pencil mazes - where the maze is a pencil! They are perfect for developing finger control in younger children, and just a little more tricky than Set 1.
Here's the first of 6 sets of fun pencil mazes - perfect for "back to school" or any time! There are 4 mazes (and solutions) in this set, and the first two sets are designed for younger children to trace with their forefinger.

We've had fun making up some species of butterfly - so that the kids can decide whether the names we've provided are fact or fiction! Cut and paste to complete the worksheet.
We've presented these butterfly project ideas so that kids can choose their own activities and try to complete a row or a line like a bingo game - although the butterfly activities suggested are so much fun they might well want to complete the whole sheet.
Colour in these pretty butterfly colouring bookmarks. Kids could colour 4, keep 1 and give three away!
Sort out the fact cards from the fiction cards with a bit of cut and paste! We've got lots of interesting facts for the kids to read - and some fun ones too, which might go in the fiction container!
These butterfly flashcard blanks are a great starting point for a butterfly research project. We have taken the 10 most common British butterflies. Ask the kids to draw a picture of the butterfly and fill in the information to create their own lovely flashcards.
This is a tricky butterflies bingo game because children will have to recognise photos of the butterflies to play! But fun... and it will help them learn the different butterflies too.
This is a large file!
