There are some intricate shapes on these two doodle pattern tiles - a cog and a grid. Fill them up with doodly patterns!  

The kids can have some fun coming up with some doodly patterns to fill up the shapes on these Doodle Pattern Tiles. Younger children can fill them up as they are; older kids might like to subdivide them further. Try just a black pen in "zentangle" style, or go colourful!

When the kids have finished filling up the different sections of these tiles with patterns, these Doodle Pattern Tiles will look very different! Older children can break the designs into more sections too, of course.

When you try an original "zentangle" you are asked to divide your square tile with "strings" or irregular lines. It can be a bit daunting for a child to do that, so we've done it for them on these two tiles!

Although the designs on these two Doodle Pattern Tiles look simple, by the time the kids have filled the hearts up with lots of different doodle designs, or coloured them in, they'll look extra special.

I had older children in mind when I designed these two Doodle Pattern Tiles, and they are perfect for autumn doodling too. Subdivide the outlines into smaller sections and get creative - you can see one that we did below!
