Sunny Day Picture Comprehension

Here's a simple picture comprehension activity for younger children, based on our lovely family picnic image. Who is having a picnic? Where? How did they bring the picnic? What are your favourite picnic foods? These are some of the questions we ask children to answer.

Look at the fun picture of butterflies and then answer the simple questions below. We've also asked children to write the first line of a story based on the picture, to get their imaginations going!
