Here is a colouring page of Pope Francis's Coat of Arms. You can see a picture with the correct colours to copy here - a page which also explains the symbolism of the design. Perhaps when the page is coloured in children could add Pope Francis's motto beneath the scroll: "Miserando atque eligendo", which means "and having mercy, He called him".

Children need to find out some facts about Pope Francis so that they can fill in this worksheet (available in either colour or black and white) and then write about what they would talk about with the Pope if they were to meet him - an interesting assignment for all ages.
