Sunday 5th February is Super Bowl Sunday, so we've put together a brand new collection of American Football resources to help you enjoy the game with the kids.
Our new pencil control worksheets are such a fun way to practice, and can be used by a wide age range. Younger children will just enjoy tracing over the grey lines and colouring in the pictures.
Today we've added a lovely new collection of dot to dots, with African animals as their theme.
Today we've been having fun with rhinos - and we've made what is actually a rather ugly animal (in my opinion) look super cute!
Playdough mats are a relatively new addition to Activity Village, but we've already built up a very useful collection! Added to that collection today are 10 new Chinese New Year playdough mats, many of which would be fun at any time of year.
I've just added two new colouring pages for our visitors that will be celebrating Australia Day this Thursday.
I've enjoyed refreshing my memory about Mary, Queen of Scots - also known as Mary Stuart or Mary I of Scotland. She certainly had a stormy life, and it doesn't sound like it was a happy one.
There is something about hippos that appeals to children. They look like such lovable, cuddly creatures, but in fact they are dangerous, aggressive, and have some rather unpleasant habits!
... for older kids and adults. I've created a "colour pop" version of this winter snowflake scene, too, for those of us who don't like colouring in the backgrounds!
Our "whose feet" printables have proven very popular. Some children see them as a challenge and are excited to fill in the missing parts of the body, designing as they go.
These fun worksheets complement the synonym posters we put up on the site last week.
You can use "Around the World" cards in the classroom with a group of children, in small groups (give each child more than one card) or as a solo challenge.
One of our new Activity Village Members asked whether it might be possible to provide a black and white version of our lovely Chinese Zodiac animal masks - already available in colour - so that her kids could colour them in themselves.
These lovely new printable posters will certainly brighten up the classroom for Chinese New Year - and of course they are useful for learning about Chinese customs and traditions too, at any time.
Whatever your political leanings, it is a big day for the United States tomorrow - the inauguration of the 45th President, Donald Trump.
Get your puzzling hat on for the Year of the Rooster and Chinese New Year! We've got lots of brand new puzzles here to print out and have ready for your Chinese New Year activities, including word search, mazes, maths facts and more!
Our Chinese New Year tracing pages make handwriting and pencil control practice so much fun - in fact, the kids won't even know they are doing it!
We've got Year of the Rooster colouring pages for little kids and Year of the Rooster colouring pages for older kids (and adults too) - as well as colouring cards and colouring bookmarks for the new Chinese New Year coming up on 28th January!
I've just added four lovely new rooster crafts to the website for Chinese New Year, and we've tried to provide something for all ages to try.
