Will you be participating in the Summer Reading Challenge? You can sign up at any library for free. All the children need to do is to visit the library three times during the summer holidays and read six books.

I don’t know about you but we’re really feeling the pinch at the minute! So, I’m busy compiling a list of activities and ideas for things to do over the summer that won’t cost a lot of money.

We love learning about animals and often include animal studies in our home education. Here is a general plan of how we make sure that we are covering lots of different subject areas when we do an animal topic.

With the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee this year we thought it might be fun to create a message to display on our window.

Working on pencil control is fun when the dotted lines you are tracing come with chicks and lambs and bunnies and Easter eggs to entice you from one side to the other!

Bunnies, eggs and oh so pretty designs cover our lastest Easter scrapbook in lovely pastel colours. These Easter scrapbook paper pages are not just perfect for scrapbooks - they are useful for all sorts of craft activities too.

These super stained glass cross pictures are the perfect Easter or Sunday School craft, look beautiful on display, and can be adapted for a range of ages.

We've been learning about palindromes this week, getting ready for Twosday (or Palindrome Day) on Tuesday 22nd February.

It's Year of the Tiger from 1st February 2022, so a great excuse to add to our tigers section!
