Now that there is such a thing as Sun Awareness Week (5th to 9th May 2025), I thought it might be useful to round up our Sun Safety activities for you.
More Family printables! I've just added six new "newspaper writing prompts" which can be used by the kids to write about their own family members, or perhaps for some creative writing.
Add a cup of this and a sprinkle of that, a pinch and a teaspoon and a drop of something else - stir it all together and what do you get?

Something new and different today! As part of our "Around the World" section, we've been looking at some of England's better-known landmarks.
Parents, grandparents, children, siblings, aunts and uncles ... that's lots of family words for children to learn. Younger children often struggle to grasp the relationship between the different members of the family too.
Once Sarah got started on these alphabet challenge puzzles, she couldn't stop! With over 20 to choose from (and a few more coming later this week) you'll find one for holidays, vacations, topics, hobbies ... and all sorts.
Looking ahead to Earth Day on 22nd April, I've just added two sets of earth posters - one featuring the alphabet, and the other featuring numbers 1-20. They are super easy to cut out and I think they will make a bright Earth Day display!
After lots of re-organisation and pulling together of bits and pieces, you can now find (easily) all our alphabet activities, by letter, from A through to Z.
Yet another addition to our St George's Day offering - these stepping stone puzzles are a fun way of sneaking in some practice at times tables, odds and evens and the alphabet!
I've added even more new St George's Day puzzles to the site today - a word search, "how many words" puzzle, two mazes for different ages, and some English landmarks puzzles for older children. Lots to explore!
