This week we learn about the inventor of the telephone, Alexander Graham Bell. He stumbled sideways onto his great invention but nevertheless changed communication with the telephone. He's a fascinating man to study with the kids, because of course telephones have changed so much since his invention, and a child of today may not even be able to guess what Alexander's device did, and how it developed into our modern day equivalents. We've produced some really interesting worksheets around the topic, too.
