Just print out these fun pirate-themed lacing cards, cut out and laminate (or not). Punch holes around the edges for younger kids to lace up with wool or cord or shoe laces. Older kids could punch a series of holes to pick out a design on the lacing cards with a blunt needle and then stitch with embroidery thread or wool. The parrot would would fabulous with some extra detailing in bright colours.
