Use these beautiful photos of animals to revise how we classify animals into different groups. Print the pictures, cut them out and mix them up. Ask the kids to sort them into piles with the name of each animal group. The answers are on our animal classification posters.
Test the children's knowledge by asking them to cut out the pictures of animals, insects and birds and then stick them onto the correct page based on whether the creature is vertebrate or invertebrate. There's a separate sheet with the answers too, available to download below.

Ask the children to grab some crayons or coloured pencils and try this animal classification colouring worksheet. On the first page, they need to only colour in the herbivores, on the second sheet only the carnivores and on the third sheet just omnivores.
